If stress is not managed at its inception stages, eventually it will worsen. A little of stress can be good; this is what we call good stress. However, when stress begins to alter our normal functioning and is beginning to affect our social life then that is something else. That kind of stress can do you no good. One way of preventing chronic stress is by not masking the symptoms of stress. Most people turn to alcohol, tranquilizers and overeating, thinking that doing these they be able to relieve stress. These activities oftentimes mask the symptoms thats why people tend to think that they have fixed the problem, what they dont know is the stress is still there and by doing nothing it will eventually turn into chronic stress. Another way of preventing chronic stress is undergoing some form of stress reduction or stress relief program. These programs will certainly help lessen the level of stress in your life.
